Handgun 1 is a fundamentals of semi-automatic handgun class, with emphasis on maximum trigger time, and building a firm foundation for shooting. This class is ideal for newer shooters, shooters who have not had formal training, or experience shooters who want a refresher. Class will begin with fundamentals of marksmanship when applied to a pistol and will progress through multiple shot strings, rapid-fire, and responding to malfunctions. All instruction will be provided for the purpose to use in a self-defense situation.

8am – 4pm

Required equipment:

– Modern semi-automatic handgun with minimum 3 magazines

– Quality Kydex, leather, or duty style, outside the waistband holster (if you’re not sure if your holster is quality, contact the instructor, additionally contact the instructor for approval of alternate carry methods)

– 300 rounds of quality ammunition

– snack or bag lunch

– water

– bug spray

– sunblock
